• Data Accuracy: APV collaborates with customers to identify opportunities to derive valuable insights. We follow a meticulous, step by step process to collect and cleanse raw data. The cleansed data is then stored in Data Store for further processing.
• Consistency: After gathering requirements from customers, data is processed and transformed based on rule sets. These rule sets are automatically re-used as new data is imported into the system.
• Security: Reports and Dashboards can be shared with people within or outside the organization. Row-Level Security (RLS) with Power BI can be used to restrict data access for given users. Sensitive data can be hidden if row-level security (RLS) is applied to it.
• Embedding: End users can slice, dice, and filter live data to create custom reports or views, tailored to their preference. Power BI interactive reports can be embedded in blog posts, websites, emails, or social media.
• Automation: Power Automate is used to streamline repetitive or manual business processes and avoid time-consuming errors using low code, to automate and quickly tackle tedious tasks.

Applications

Reports tracked and predicted steady growth in the user base for the USDA Online Learning Center. Our Business Intelligence tools and analysts worked with the customer to establish rules to classify “Active,” or “Inactive” users. With the rapid expansion of the user base, we automated the task of identifying and tracking inactivity metrics. 
Power Automate was used to inform thousands of inactive users of their account status, and the steps required to remain “Active” in the Online Learning Center. 
The goal was to see both an uptick in user engagement, and efficient resource management for our customers. AI helps us deliver a timely solution to tedious tasks.

Implementation

APV has used Power-automate for intelligent automation of workflows for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other US federal agencies.
APV is also helping generative AI solution implementation by infusing the power of large language models into Power BI that help businesses gain valuable insights from data. Generative AI will enable users to create and customize reports quickly using conversational language to:

• Help generate and edit DAX calculations.
• Generate narrative summaries and insights from data.
• Ability to easily tailor the tone, scope, and style of narratives and add them seamlessly within reports.
• Data Insights from easy-to-understand text summaries.
